Position Overview
Are you looking to work on something meaningful? Our products enable business leaders to have more visibility, reduce risk, ensure compliance, and fulfil their higher corporate purpose.
The Director of Solution Product Management is responsible, with their team of Solution PM’s, for the evolution of market-leading solutions on the Diligent One Platform by collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence product vision and direction.
They identify and address dependencies, requirements, and gaps between market needs and product roadmaps, while actively soliciting feedback to advise on these gaps. Additionally, they act as the voice of the customer and market within the product team, clearly communicating customer and commercial needs to the build-focused teams.
They maintain a strong knowledge of the business domain, applying problem-solving skills to address complex product requirements and advising stakeholders on pushing boundaries.
Furthermore, they monitor the external market landscape, including competitor analysis and market trends, to inform product strategy and support cross-functional teams with demos and product strategy presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the evolution of market-leading solutions on the Diligent One Platform.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence the product vision.
- Identify and work through dependencies, requirements and gaps between market needs and product roadmaps.
- Actively solicit feedback on solution and product roadmaps, advising on gaps.
- Be the voice of the customer and market in the product team, clearly communicating and sharing insights about customer and commercial needs with the ‘build’ focussed teams.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business domain, applying problem-solving skills to address critical and complex product requirements - advising stakeholders on where and how to push the boundaries.
- Monitor the external market landscape, including competitor analysis and market trends to inform the product and strategy.
- Support cross functional teams (esp. Analyst Relations, Marketing etc.) with demos, product strategy presentations.
Required Experience/Skills
- Proven experience in product management, preferably with SaaS experience with a high number of users.
- Must be able to demonstrate examples of innovation that created outstanding value for users.
- Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching large-scale cloud-based software products.
- Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong business acumen.
- You have a data-oriented mindset, and you are passionate about user and performance metrics.
- You have demonstrated a strong ability to define and measure success.
- You must have strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing product management teams.
