Position Overview
Are you an expert at email writing, a whiz at webpage copy, a superstar at social posts? Do you thrive on turning complex concepts into content that grabs attention and drives action? If so, you might be just the Content Marketing Specialist to join Diligent. As a key member of the Content Strategy team reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, you’ll create short-form content that catches attention, creates awareness and drives conversions. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales and other stakeholders to ensure content is on point, is in our voice and (most importantly) engages our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft snappy copy for webpages, landing pages, emails, ads, headlines, social posts, brochures, product sheets, and other marketing and sales messaging and collateral as needed.
- Collaborate with our Email Strategist to develop, refine and launch content-driven email nurture campaigns that increase open and clickthrough rates.
- Work closely with our Brand Design team to continuously iterate and test campaign creative.
- Partner with our Product Marketing and SEO teams to translate our platform’s benefits and unique selling propositions into compelling, keyword-driven product webpages and campaign landing pages.
- Leverage AI tools to generate ideas, drafts and content iterations, while adding human creativity and personality to AI outputs.
- Optimize content based on performance metrics such as conversion rates, clickthrough rates and engagement.
- Execute various content tasks including publishing items on our CMS, using tech to regionalize content, participating in brainstorming sessions, and generally helping drive content-driven campaigns forward.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and content marketing innovations.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, content, digital marketing or equivalent role, preferably with a focus on B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to work with velocity and partner cross-functionally to align content with business goals.
- A portfolio of published content assets.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and prompting techniques for content creation is a plus.
- Copyediting skills are a plus.
- Creative agency copywriting experience is a plus.
