Today we own 2.2GW of solar and through our Operations and Maintenance Services business, Cypress Creek Solutions, we operate 4.9GW of solar projects. The Cypress Creek Solutions organization offers a variety of services to the solar and storage market including turnkey operations and maintenance contracts, module washing, array services, EPC milestone inspections, and Inverter Specialty Services.

Overview
As a Senior Pricing Manager for Cypress Creek Solutions, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing operations and maintenance services pricing strategies that drive profitability and competitiveness in the renewable energy sector. You will be responsible for developing, refining, and managing services pricing models that align with market dynamics, customer needs, and company goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, attention to detail, and industry knowledge to optimize revenue streams and ensure sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pricing Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement services pricing strategies that maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform pricing decisions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, operations) to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  2. Pricing Model Design and Management:
    • Design and maintain robust pricing models for solar and storage O&M services.
    • Regularly update pricing models based on cost analysis, market changes, and business performance metrics.
    • Ensure pricing models are scalable, flexible, and adaptable to varying customer needs and project requirements.
    • Work with Cost Analyst and their cost modeling to accurately define and implement operational costs into the pricing model
  3. Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate pricing effectiveness, profitability, and margin optimization.
    • Prepare pricing forecasts and scenario analyses to support business planning and decision-making processes.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing and revenue generation.
  4. Contract Pricing and Negotiation:
    • Generate services pricing for business development and account management opportunities
    • Generate services pricing for internally retained assets as required by our development and structured finance teams
    • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to structure pricing proposals and negotiate contracts with customers.
    • Provide guidance on pricing terms, incentives, and discount strategies to achieve desired business outcomes.
    • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to pricing policies and guidelines.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with operations, finance, legal, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and execution.
    • Communicate pricing initiatives, changes, and updates effectively across the organization.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment to drive continuous improvement in pricing practices.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in pricing management, preferably in the renewable energy industry or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing strategy development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex pricing challenges.
  • Knowledge of solar and energy storage technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in pricing software/tools and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Powerfactors, Excel, NetSuite, SiteTracker) is a plus.
  • Ability to support occasional travel to project sites or industry events.
