Become part of our Sales team in Boston, where we enable organizations to start their climate action journey. We help companies measure their carbon footprint, set ambitious targets, define reduction strategies, finance climate projects, and communicate their efforts transparently. We embed climate action into their business through our unique certification – ClimatePartner Certified.

• Assist businesses in taking climate action across various industries such as Consumer Goods & Retail, Food & Beverage, and Clothing
• Develop an understanding of our Product Carbon Footprint services
• Support the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to signed proposal for inbound inquiries of small businesses with focus on sellers seeking certification for Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program
• Help existing customers add additional products to their certification portfolio by preparing offers and processing new orders
• Review and categorize products into product groups in consultation with existing and prospective customers
• Guide our prospective customers through our services and footprint calculator tool in demo meetings
• Support the Sales team’s Senior Managers in complex sales initiatives, data management, and process support
• Enter and maintain data in our IT systems e.g. CRM system Microsoft Dynamics and create reports for analytic purposes
• Research leads and create customer target contact lists to assist strategic outbound sales campaigns
• Collaborate with our European colleagues and support our US Customer Management team
• A professional with 0-2 years of experience in Sales, a customer focusing role or sustainability related services
• Passionate about sustainability, driven by a strong conviction for climate action and a natural team player
• An excellent task manager and can manage multiple projects effectively
• Good at building relationships easily and believe in educating clients as a tool to build trust
• Proficient with data, have excellent analytical skills, and are very comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint
• A skilled communicator and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Motivated to work in an entrepreneurial environment and have a sense of responsibility, willingness to take initiative, and are able to thrive in a casual and easy-going work environment
• Excited to work in a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days a week at our Boston office located in Back Bay

• Fluent in English (written and verbal skills) Desired qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business or environmental sciences
• Knowledgeable about Amazon marketplaces and the Climate Pledge Friendly program

• Previous experience with carbon accounting at the product or company level
