Reports To

Product Quality (PQE) & Failure Analysis Engineering (FAE) Team Lead/Manager

What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for a Part-Time Junior Product Quality Engineer (PQE) who can lead the development of various Quality Functional test stations (OQC, Outgoing Quality Control and/or Ongoing Reliability (ORT) required Test Program Scripts Coding, Setup and Training to be deployed to ChargePoint (CP’s) Contract Manufacturer (CM) Factory and ChargePoint Headquarter Failure Analysis Engineering (FAE) Lab.

This engineer will be working closely with CP’s Factory PQE and Contract Manufacturing (CM’s) Quality and Test Engineers to code the test programs in the most effective and optimized manner to an automatic process with a well-documented Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for control run then deploy to CM factories and FAE labs.

To be successful at ChargePoint this person must be highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable working in a loosely structured and fast-paced environment.

High Level Tasks

• Assist on Factory Quality Functional Test Program Script Development
• Assist Quality Failure Analysis Engineering on any urgent field failure return FA
• Assist on Failure Analysis Data Mining and Status Report Writeup
• Write Training documentation and conduct training Face-To-Face and Remotely

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Studying in University for BS/MS degree with technical major (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent)
• Hands-on practical experience for reference check
• Fluent English verbal and writing communication
• Excellent Teamworking

Requirements

• C++, Python, Factory Stand, Jarva, other programming hands-on experience
• Strong logical thinking for innovative test program coding
• Strong English Verbal, Writing and Presentation skills
• Addition details that can justify for hiring into this role

Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level for full-time is $37,500 to $87,860. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
