Job Description

What you will be doing
You will join Breathe's software engineering team over the 2024 summer break to gain real-world experience designing, building, testing and maintaining software solutions.
During your internship you will design python tools and applications, develop your ability to write well-structured, production quality code, and be involved in implementing continuous integration.
You will undertake a project to automate part of our battery testing processes, to speed up the process and eliminate the source of human error.
Your responsibilities
- Working alongside the validation and testing teams to develop software testing solutions
- Developing a tool increase automation within our processes, enabling us to innovate quicker
- Injecting fresh ideas into our software development and testing
Requirements
- Currently undertaking 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor's/ Master's degree in a highly relevant area such as (but not limited to): Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Available from 25 June 2024 for 10-12 weeks
- Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor VISAs for this role
- Experience with a programming language is essential.
- Experience with python programming is a plus, but not essential
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Kind and conscientious
