As a Junior Fullstack Software Engineer (Platform Swarm), you will have the opportunity to work on all of our software stack and learn about state-of-the-art platform development. Technologies that you will work on are Quarkus, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Vue.js, Docker, Amazon Web Services, MySQL, Debezium and Clickhouse, and interfacing them with different programming languages like Java, Python, Javascript/TypeScript and Kotlin. You will focus on creating highly scalable, easy-to-deal with platform services that will be used by all teams across the company.

Your responsibilities

• Work in a cross functional platform team and build out our fundamental services
• Build and maintain high-performance, scalable and reliable software components
• Work closely with other passionate software engineers to develop and ship new features and overall Beekeeper architecture and infrastructure
• Our engineers have an on-call duty. When you be will up to speed we expect you to be part of the rota as well

What we look for in you

• 1+ years experience in software coding and development, specifically back-end development as well as in web development
• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience with Java, Python or similar languages
• You care about code quality and continuous refactoring
• Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) as English is our company language
• Eligibility to work in Poland. This is a full time inhouse position (employment contract)

Bonus Points

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages
• Experience with Terraform, Elasticsearch, Debezium, Clickhouse, Kubernetes
• You can show us programming projects that you work on in your free time
