This role will primarily focus on contributing to the generation of a pipeline of carbon projects in Europe.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with project owners, such as forest management companies, landowners, bioenergy facilities, etc.
• Identify new business opportunities following the guidelines of regulations, local policies, and main carbon project registries and standards.
• Participating in origination conferences
• Collect data from reports and webinars for analysis
• Work with our back-office team on contracting, NDA, admin processes, etc.

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

• Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Forestry, Climate Change or similar.
• Must currently be authorized to work in Spain.
• At least 2 years of experience in the carbon market with an understanding of methodologies and standards
• Attention to detail
• Communicates effectively
• Understanding of European legislation and regulations (CRCF, GCD, among others) is a plus
• Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science or Business Administration is a plus.
